Brahman Photo Contest Guidelines
We invite all photography enthusiasts from around the world to capture the majestic beauty of Brahman cattle in our special photo contest. This contest is open to both youth and adults, and aims to showcase the unique attributes of Brahman cattle through captivating imagery.
Submission Deadline
All entries must be submitted by July 19th.
You can upload them using this form: UPLOAD PHOTOS HERE
Or you can also drop off an actual printed copy of the photo to the museum on Friday, July 19th.
Eligibility
– Open to all ages, with separate categories for youth and adults.
– Age divisions will be held for Youth (Up to 12 years old); Teen (13 to 19); and Adult: 20 and over.
– Participants who do not have access to Brahman cattle may schedule a 30-minute photo session at BRC Ranch. A donation of $100 to the Brahman Museum is required to secure this session.
Photo Specifications and Entry Fees
– There is no fee to enter the contest.
-Digital entries may be submitted through our online portal.
– Printed photographs may be submitted in sizes ranging from 5×7 inches to 8×10 inches.
– Include on the back of each photo: Photographer name, phone number, email, and age division.
Ownership and Rights
– By submitting a photo, participants agree that the Brahman Museum acquires a non-exclusive right to display the photograph in the museum and on social media.
– Submitted photos may be used by the museum for display, promotional, and other purposes.
Judging and Prizes
– Photos will be judged based on creativity, composition, and how well they capture the essence of Brahman cattle.
– Prizes will be awarded for the top three photographs in each category.
Exhibition Details
– Selected photos will be displayed at the Brahman Museum and may be included in future promotional materials.
– The winners will be displayed in the museum during the Wharton Wine and Art Festival in October 2024.
